The SANGROK gym has become like a second home for me. I'm very privileged to have experienced the training and the spirit of SANGROK. The way Master Chang has taught me, has given me an opportunity to learn high quality Taekwondo. SANGROK represent not only taekwondo to me, but also the best part of Korean culture. I feel honored to call Master Chang my master and friend. Anyone that wants to experience Korean culture at it's best and wishes to train the best Taekwondo, should visit the SANGROK World Taekwondo Academy. The way of Master Chang's taekwondo teaching is a blend of traditional taekwondo and Olympic taekwondo. If you are a beginner, an instructor, competitioner etc, SANGROK gym and Master Chang has something to teach everyone.

I arrived at SangRok gym a young blue belt, understanding little of Taekwondo or the philosophy. I only intended to stay for three months as I had traveling plans before I went to University. However despite training Jiame Zaldua, Jaime Elwes and my self into the ground I loved every second of it. I stayed for 5 months in total and was very sorry to go. I saw my Taekwondo improve to levels that I had never imagined possible compared to what I had before. It gave me great pride and a new, more real confidence in my actions. Bringing a new joy into my world. This was not only from the pride in my abilities but also from listening to the advice that Master Chang gave me. It is all so obvious now but to hear what he said to me at the time caused me to think very deeply about myself, and to take into my thoughts some very obvious things that I had not understood of how much importance they are. All noticed a change in me when I returned to England and everyone declared that the time I spent here had done me immeasurable good. However there is still much to learn, and after enjoying University a little too much and neglecting my Taekwondo, two years later I have return to re-learn some of the lessons I have forgotten. The style of training I learn Master Chang is extremely different to any thing that I had been exposed to before I came to Sang Rok and in the two years since I have not found a teacher who can be as dynamic as Master Chang. From thundering up and down the gym till I drop or careful hours spent on Poomse. Master Chang has shown me the many different sides to Taekwondo, I love it will come back as often as I can.
