Some
Words from Master Changs Pupils
SANGROK World Taekwondo Academy Family
(Old SANGROK
family Board)
Master
Henrik S. Hunstad
The SANGROK gym has become like a second home for me.
I'm very privileged to have experienced the training and the spirit
of SANGROK. The way Master Chang has taught me, has given me an opportunity
to learn high quality Taekwondo. SANGROK represent not only taekwondo
to me, but also the best part of Korean culture. I feel honored to call
Master Chang my master and friend. Anyone that wants to experience Korean
culture at it's best and wishes to train the best Taekwondo, should
visit the SANGROK World Taekwondo Academy. The way of Master Chang's
taekwondo teaching is a blend of traditional taekwondo and Olympic taekwondo.
If you are a beginner, an instructor, competitioner etc, SANGROK gym
and Master Chang has something to teach everyone.
Sincerely,
Master Henrik S. Hunstad,
International Master Instructor, 6th Dan
Director of SANGROK Norway.

About a week ago, I came back from Master Changs seminar in Lyon, France. As always, Master Chang offered the students his unique style, which combines smoothness with power, fluent movement with precision. We practiced Poosae, self-defense, stepping, and kicking, while paying attention to the position of the body, the use of the body weight, and the ease with which we are supposed to use it. By emphasizing these principles, Master Chang once again demonstrated the links between poomsae and kiyurugi and how all aspects of Taekwondo must ultimately combine to form one big whole.
It is also my pleasant duty to thank all of Mater Changs students in Lyon, and especially Yona and Abdel. Thanks to their hospitality, and the hospitality of their students, I immediately felt at home and could enjoy the seminar from the minute it began. I also want to thank the Glorieaux family who hosted me and made me feel at home.
Attending the seminar I found out once again that the SangRok family is very much real and I hope that in the future, I will be able to meet students from other counties as well, so that Master Changs seminars become somewhat more international.
Best Regards, Avner
SangRok Kvutsat Shiller, Israel
